I went to the doctor today and was told I'm going to hell!!!!!!!!!!
by changeling ini went to my gp today.
i go there quite often since he's also my parent's doctor and i bring them to all their appointments.. i take my dad there at least once a month for blood work since he is on blood thinners, so i'm very familiar with the lady who draws blood.. today i had to have blood drawn myself, and the lady inquired about my parents.
she asked if they had had a nice christmas.

I am having a bad day
by Vivamus init is wearing me down.. my constant companion in life, my skull-breaking- mind-blowing- daily migraines finally got the better off me six months ago.
i broke down, i cried and cried and cried.
not only cuz of the pain, but more for the fact that painkillers were not helping me anymore.

What Is The Jehovah's Witness Religion To You?

Long Shot, but does anyone have any old pics of...
by El Kabong in...any district assembly pictures, particularly of those held at roosevelt stadium in jersey city, nj, yankee stadium, or the polo grounds.
the reason i would like to see these pics is because i play a baseball game called baseball mogul, and the game can be modified to use real stadium pictures in the play by play mode.
if you can pm me, or post them to this thread if you wish, it would greatly be appreciated.

My Experience.....
by NomadSoul ini was raised a jw since childhood up to the age of 16. at that age i decided that i didn't want to go to to the meetings.
that decision was taken in lew of reading a lot about different philosophies.
i didn't consider one philosophy to be right, but everyone of them had something that inspired me to be a better person.

My Life as a 'Famous' Jehovah's Witness
by united states of nothing injust let me start out by saying i am unable to give certain details of my life as i have learned very quickly this can cause a lot of problems.
i was born into the 'truth' as my mother had been studying with a few sisters on and off at a local congregation.
my father was never a jw and came in and out of my life for many years..to this day i do not give him much time.

USN. Welcome to the board. I do find it interesting in your initial post that the JW's banned you from certain congregational activities initially. But, when you hit the majors, all of a sudden, these same people want free tickets to the ballgame. It's just so typical, back-stab a person when they are down, but act like they are your best friend when they want something nice from that same person. In any case, welcome to the board. Looking forward you hearing from you more.
